Is this Sound Engineering / Music Production Course for me?
Yes! We are specifically teaching you how to convert your thoughts into a finished song that can be played on the radio or shared with the world. We are aiming to create music artists who will become the future of the Indian Music Industry. Enroll now if you want to become a professional Sound Engineer & Music Producer.
What is the software that i will be learning on?
Most softwares these days are all alike bar a few controls and features. We will be starting you off with Ableton Live 10 Suite, highly intuitive and advanced industry standard Music Production DAW. Of course we also teach Logic Pro, Cubase and Fl Studio and even some of the new software in the market such as Bitwig Studio, Studio One 4 & Reaper.
How many students are there in a batch?
Most of the time, we give only One-on-One classes to all our students but in some cases, we make batches of maximum three students. This is because we offer flexibility to the students to choose their preferable time and day slot as per their convenience. So if any student changes their time or day, then he has to adjust in a running batch for that particular day.
What are the course timings?
The timings are structured flexibly according to the needs of each student. So you can choose the days and time slots as per your convenience even on the weekends also. We are open 7 days a week.
What is the course fee?
Our Course Fees are mentioned on our website under Courses Tab. Click on the "Courses Tab" and head towards the particular course you want to inquire.
Can i pay course fee in installments?
Yes, you can. Flexible monthly installment payment options are available on all of our courses. Please contact us to get more information. Most commonly, you can pay in two equal installments.
Will i receive a certificate after the completion of course?
Ofcourse. You will receive a Certificate after successfully completing any of our courses. Even you get a chance to work with us as a team member as we are also in the business of Music Composing & Producing for some big clients of Music Industry.
Can i get a demo class before admission?
You're welcome to visit our Academy / Studio. We always give a FREE Demo Class to everyone before admission. Please make sure you have an Appointment, because we would like to have the time to answer all your questions and may be show you around. So please make an appointment through Call.
What qualification / experience do i need to apply?
As such no particular Musical Knowledge in required to opt for these courses. But if you play any Musical Instrument, it will be a plus point which will help you in your Music Career.
What help do you offer for my career development?
Our courses are designed to assist aspiring musicians, artistes, producers and DJ’s to gain the requisite skills to enable a commercial music career. During your time with us, you may also be given hands on learning experience to produce on freelance projects to give you exposure to Music Industry Experiences.
How much will i be able to earn once i complete my course?
A Musician's earning capacity is entirely based on his own needs and capability. After completing the course, you will easily be able to work as a freelance Music Producer or even can work in Recording Studios as Mix Engineer / Recordist as per your knowledge and experience. Everything depends on the quality and magic you have in your hands.
Terms & Conditions
By enrolling in a course provided by Beat Guru®, you agree to be legally bound by the following terms and conditions (these “Terms and Conditions of Enrollment”).
A reference in these Terms and Conditions to “we”, “us” or “our” is a reference to Beat Guru®.

1. Your Declaration
1.1 By enrolling in a course with us, you:

Confirm that all the information you’ve given us in connection with your enrollment is complete, true and correct at the time it’s given.

Confirm that you have access to a suitable workplace if necessary to fulfill course requirements to a computer with an internet connection, the ability to view YouTube and any additional hardware, software or equipment as specified on our website for the course in which you are enrolling (your “Course”).

Confirm that you’ve read and understood all the information in this document, the relevant policies links, and our Code of ethics, and that you agree to act in accordance with them.

Accept that it’s your responsibility to ensure that the personal information you provide to us is kept current. Any changes to your name, address, email address, phone numbers, payment options or banking details should be sent to us as soon as practicable with any relevant documentation.

Agree to retain a current email address by which you can be contacted for the duration of your course, and through which we may communicate formally with you via email and through the learning environment.

Confirm that you understand the challenges in accessing a suitable workplace, particularly for assessment tasks for students that are not of working age.
1.2 You acknowledge that you may be prevented from enrolling with us or have your enrollment cancelled if we determine that any of the above statements are untrue, or you are otherwise in breach of these terms and conditions.
2. Payment Terms
2.1 By enrolling in a course with us, you:

Confirm that you’ve read and understood the fees associated with your Course and agree to pay your requisite fees.

Confirm that if you are under 18 years you have submitted your parental consent form including their agreement to the payment of fees arrangements.
2.2 If you fail to pay any part of the Course fee by the due date, we reserve the right to:
-
Restrict access to our institute/ classrooms/ online learning environment.
-
Withhold marking of assessments and issuance of qualifications or statements of attainment for partial completion.

Notify relevant credit agencies of your default.
2.3 If you’re paying your Course fee by monthly installments, you:
-
Must use a valid Debit/ Credit card or bank account.
-
Must agree to a Direct Debit Request Service Agreement.
-
Must pay all such installments on or before the due dates and will be liable to pay late fine (Rs. 100/- per day) if fee paid after the due date.
-
If you fail to pay your due fees or installment on or before the due date, you will be given an extension period of 15 days to clear up your dues with the applicable late fine of Rs. 100/- per day.
-
If you fail to pay your due fees or installment within the extension period of 15 days, your course enrollment will be cancelled or discontinued immediately without any prior notice.
-
Once your course enrollment is cancelled or discontinued due to fee default, you will have to re-enroll to the specific course by paying the full course fee in advance. Previously paid fee will not be adjusted.
-
Remain liable for unpaid installments even if you finish your course early.
-
Will not be entitled to be issued with a qualification until you have paid your course fee in full.
-
Will not be entitled to be issued with a statement of attainment for a module until you have paid all fees in respect of that module.
2.4 You acknowledge that the Course Fee doesn’t include:
-
any hardware, software, printed materials (fees may apply if these are required) or equipment for your course, as listed as requirements on our website.
-
Travel or other personal costs (such as uniforms) associated with undertaking workplace assessments.
3. Withdrawal and Refunds
3.1 You can get a full refund without penalties or fees:
-
Before your course starts.
-
Within seven days of your course enrollment date if condition “A” fulfills.
3.2 You’re not eligible for a refund for modules already provided in any circumstances.
3.3 If you don’t complete the course within its mandatory time frame, your enrollment expires without refund, unless you have paid a fee for an extension.
3.4 Course fees won’t be refunded as a result of a course change (refer to ‘Changing Course’ below).
3.5 To be eligible for a standard refund you must have:

Withdrawn from the course before the course starts.
-
Completed a refund request within seven days from the date of enrollment.
3.6 If there is an outstanding debt associated with your course, please contact us for possible payment options.
4. Changing Course
4.1. You are not allowed to change your course without a proper application letter. Course change request can only be accepted for upgrade, no downgrade request will be accepted, course can be changed where fee structure is appreciate.
5. Code of Ethics
5.1. Beat Guru® Code of ethics provides, for a clear understanding of the expectations & obligations we expect from students participating in our courses with regard to personal and academic conduct. All students are expected to comply with these principles for the duration of their participation.
Always collect “Student Handbook” from Beat Guru® after the paid enrollment. Student handbook contains all the Terms & Conditions.
6. Language, Literacy and Numeracy
Students who have difficulty with basic literacy, numeracy, English language or other areas of learning are requested to advise us of this at the time of enrollment. We may be able to provide direct assistance or refer the student to the appropriate agency on a fee borne by student.
7. Website Use
7.1. By enrolling in a course with us, you’re expected to comply with the terms and conditions for using our websites and student platforms for the duration of your enrollment. If we consider that you’re not complying with these requirements, we may cancel your enrollment, which may result in your loss of fees.
7.2 Some information collected by our website will not in itself identify you, but will provide information about your use of our website (for example ‘click stream data’ or ‘cookies’). We may collect and use this data to track use of our website and/or to help improve our services.
8. Privacy
8.1. By enrolling in a course with us, you:

Agree that we may collect personal information (including sensitive information) about you for the purposes of enrolling you in your Course, processing your enrollment application, managing your participation in your Course, improving our products and services, and communicating with you about our products and services (including your Course).

Understand that we’re obligated to disclose your personal information to relevant government authorities as required by law and for reporting purposes.
9. Our Obligation
9.1 Subject to these terms and conditions, Beat Guru®:

Agrees to provide you with access to our Classroom and online learning environment, associated learning material and trainers.

Will respond to your questions throughout your course.

Mark and provide feedback on your assessments.
-
Provide you with access to our student support services.
-
Issue you with certification for your successful completion of a course or part thereof.
9.2 We may make changes to our course contents (including learning materials and requirements), to our websites, to our policies and procedures from time to time, and reasonable changes to our fees.
